Description Brewing Tips Recommendations
Silver needle is the rarest and most spectacular of the white teas. Early in the spring, the individual leaf buds are picked before opening and carefully handcrafted into Yinzhen tea. Each bud is covered with white downy hair and the tea is known for its buttery, nutty flavor. Packed with antioxidants and low in caffeine - a very healthy tea. Origin: Fujian Province, China |
- Start with your favorite spring or filtered water. Heat the water to between 160 F and 180 F,
- Use up to 2 tablespoons.
- Steep for 3-4 minutes. Experiment with steeping times, amount of tea and water temperature to personalize your tea experience. Rely on taste, not color. Lengthen subsequent steeping times for additional infusions.
